1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped pecans
1 egg, beaten
1 cup white sugar
1 T. white Karo syrup
1 stick butter
1 t. vanilla extract
2 cups Rice Krispies
2 cups shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the first 6 ingredients over med heat stirring constantly (8-10 minutes). Remove from heat, add vanilla & Krispies. Stir well & roll into logs. Place coconut on waxed paper & roll the logs across the coconut. It is best to lay them on waxed paper so they won't stick to the surface.
