1 pint strawberries, cap, wash & dry on paper towel
1 deep pie crust (or Pillsbury pre-rolled), baked
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup water
2 T. cornstarch
1 pkg strawberry jello

Top with: whipped cream or cool whip

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar & cornstarch together. Boil water and slowly stir in the mixture, add the strawberry jello and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool off. Arrange strawberries in the crust. Pour the cooled filling over the berries. Refrigerate. Serve with cool whip or squirtable whipped cream.
