Mix together:
4 T sugar
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cinnamon

Add:
3 T shortening
1 C milk, scalded & cooled

Blend in:
1 egg, well beaten
1 pkg yeast dissolved in 1/4 C lukewarm water

Add:
1/2 C raisins
4 1/4 C flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and knead into ball. Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise approximately 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Shape into balls and place in greased pan. Let rise for 30 minutes and snip a cross in top of each roll with kitchen scissors and dab with shortening.

Bake at 400 for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Brush tops with butter and drizzle with powdered sugar frosting.
