1 t. butter
2 c. stale bread, cut into cubes
2 med-sized tart,unpeeled apples, cored and diced 1/2" size
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 cups milk
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees; butter 1 1/2 qt. casserole. In mixing bowl toss apples and bread cubes and turn into buttered casserole. In same mixing bowl beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar,milk, vanilla and cinnamon; pour over bread and apples pushing bread under to soak up liquid.

Bake on middle shelf 50-60 min. or until pudding is slightly set and puffed.

*Serve warm or cold.
GOOD WITH CARAMEL SAUCE!
