1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 1/4 c. (15oz can) sweetened condensed Milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
chopped peanuts
10 Apples

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, corn syrup, milk and salt in heavy 1 1/2 qt. sauce pan. Cook slowly to soft ball stage 230 1/2 Stirring constantly. Takes about 15 min. Remove from heat. Stir in Vanilla, keep pan in warm place on range away from drafts. Keeps carmel soft and pliable. Dip Apples in Carmel then in chopped peanuts then put in cup cake papers.
Be sure to have apples and nuts ready before you start, Carmel sets up rapidly
