1 stick oleo (butter)
1 onion, finely chopped
1 can (4 oz.) stems and pieces mushrooms
1 can undiluted beef consumme
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup uncooked rice

Directions:

Melt butter and saute onion. Add remaining ingredients, cover and bake 1 hour at 375. Stir once after 30 minutes.

To prepare ahead, combine all ingredients except for the rice. Add that right before cooking. Excellent with steak or any beef dish.
