3/4 c.(1 1/2sticks) butter
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1(12oz.) bag chocolate chunks (about 2 cups)
1(14oz) bag soft caramels
1/4 c. heavy cream

Heat oven to 350 . Line 13X9 pan with foil coated with nonstick spray. Melt butter and choc. in microwave until smooth. Whisk in eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla. Stir in nuts. Spread half the batter into pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup of chocolate chunks. In sauce pan melt caramels and cream until smooth(about 5 min.). Pour over batter in pan and spread with remaining batter. Sprinkle remaining cup of chocolate chunks. Bake in 350 oven until top is dry to touch, about 36 min. Let cool on rack and lift brownie from pan with foil. Cut into squares.
