"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Meatballs:
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 onion, diced
1 slice ginger root, grated or 1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T curry powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 egg

Curry Sauce:
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 T curry powder
1 1/2 C chicken broth
1/2 C green peas, fresh or frozen
1 T cornstarch blended with 1 T water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients for the meatballs thoroughly. Shape into balls. Place in a single layer on a greased baking dish.

Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes or until done in centers and lightly browned on outside.

Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet or saucepan. Add curry powder. Cook over moderate heat until curry powder releases a distinct aroma, about 2 minutes.

Stir while toasting to keep curry in a thin even layer. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add peas and simmer until just tender. Stir in cornstarch paste. Cook and stir until thickened and translucent.

Add turkey balls to sauce to heat through.

Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with carrots.

Personal Notes:
I love curry but don't cook much with it. However, this is one of my favorites.
