1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1/2 cup sweet onion, chopped
salt and pepper
3 large potatoes, sliced
2 carrots, shredded
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger and onion until browned. Drain and put in the bottom of a casserole dish. Add the layer of potatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Shred carrots over the potatoes. Put soup over the carrots. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 minutes longer until cheese is melted..
