This recipe for Peanut Brittle, by Grandma, is from Grandma's Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Distribute peanuts evenly over shallow pan. Melt sugar in a heavy pan over low heat. Stir constantly until it becomes a light syrup. Keep pushing the sugar lumps down from the sides as they form and mash them as you stir. As soon as its melted pour quickly over salted peanuts. Candy hardens quickly, when cooled turn from pan and break into pieces.
