1 T. slightly beaten large egg white
2 cups pecan halves, almonds, cashews...whatever
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 300.
2. Mix egg white and pecan halves in medium bowl until pecans are coated and sticky.
3. Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle over pecans. Stir until pecans are completely coated. Spread pecans in single layer in ungreased jelly roll pan.
4. Bake uncovered about 30 minutes or until toasted, turning nuts halfway through cooking time. Cool completely, or serve slightly warm. Store in airtight container at room temperature up to 3 weeks.

Nuts that are already roasted (like cashews often are) will need less time. I often mix several types together. Recipe doubles easily.
