2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
tsp. salt
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, cream of tartar and salt.
Cream shortening and 1 cups sugar thoroughly. Add eggs and vanilla; beat.
Add sifted dry ingredients and blend well. Chill dough until easy to handle. Combine cup of sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough into small balls and dip into sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350) for 10-12 minutes
