1 1/4 cups sifted all purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup (3-oz pkg) cream cheese
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup apricot preserves

Frosting:
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 tbsp soft butter
1/4 cup apricot preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together into mixing bowl. Cut in butter and cream cheese until fine. Add coconut and preserves, blend well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 - 18 minutes until lightly brown. Cool and frost. If desired, decorate with nut half, flaked coconut or apricot preserves.

APRICOT FROSTING:
Combine powdered sugar, butter and apricot preserves. Beat until smooth.
