1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 large package chocolate chips
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and sugar, beating well. Add 2 eggs and beat until smooth. Blend in sour cream.
Stir chocolate chips into boiling water until melted. Add baking soda to chocolate mixture. Next combine chocolate mixture with egg mixture. Lastly, add flour and vanilla and beat well. Bake in a greased 9x9x2 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minures.

I often double this recipe and bake in a 9x13 inch pan.
Frost with buttercream frosting and serve.
