3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts
Marshmallows

Frosting:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 squares chocolate
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa together. Cream shortening. Gradually add sugar. Cream until light. Blend in eggs, beating well after each. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Blend in vanilla and nuts. Spread in greased and floured 8 x 8" pan. Bake 350 25 - 30 minutes. Turn off oven. Cover with marshmallows cut in half. Bake just until marshmallows are soft. When cool, cover with frosting. For frosting mix brown sugar, water and chocolate. Boil 3 minutes. Add butter and vanilla. Cool. Add sifted powdered sugar. Cut into bars.
