1 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
3 T. butter, melted
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
3 eggs, beaten
1 T. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (9") unbaked pie shell
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

Directions:
Melt chocolate and butter in a small saucepan. In a separate saucepan, combine sugar and syrup, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Ad chocolate mixture. Add beaten eggs, stirring frequently. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 375 for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream and whipped cream.
