2 or 3 large bunches fresh broccoli
10-12 slices fried drained bacon ( I use pre-cooked bacon.)
1/2 cup diced purple onion
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup mayo (I use fat free)
1/4 cup sugar
2 T white vinegar
1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Chop the broccoli into small bite size pieces.
Mix the broccoli, bacon, onion, raisins and sunflower seeds. Mix mayo, sugar and vinegar. Mix the dressing with the broccoli mixture and chill for 5 hours.

This is my favorite salad to take to school for lunch. It keeps well and stays crunchy.
