1 1/2 C sugar
1/2 C shortening
2 eggs
1/2 C sour milk
1 t soda
2 C sifted flour
1 C mashed bananas (2 bananas)
1 t vanilla
3/4 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening add eggs and beat.

Sift flour and soda add alternately with sour milk and then add bananas and vanilla.

Pour into 9 x 13 pan bake 30 minutes 350

Mom used to make this into cupcakes and sell them. Ask Chuck, Doug and Caroline about their experiences as sales people for Mom's baked goods.

Mom would frost the cupcakes with the divinity frosting, my favorite was chocalate frosting.
