2 1/2 cups penne pasta, uncooked
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup frozen peas, thawed, divided
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove minced garlic
1 1/2 cups diagonally cut asparagus (1/2")
3/4 lb chicken breasts, skinned and boned, cut into 1/2" cubes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

Blend until smooth, the broth and 1/2 of the peas and set aside.

Heat the oil, add the garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add the asparagus and chicken, saute 4 minutes or until chicken is done. Add the pea puree, the remaining peas and salt; stir well. Stir in the pasta and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes or until the mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and add the pepper and cheese; toss well and serve.
