Ingredients:  
4 cups water
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup (1/2 lb) chopped ham
2 10 oz pkg frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 cup instant mashed potato flakes
1 cup milk
1/2 stick butter
1/2 lb Velveeta cheese, cut in chunks
1/2 tsp sweet basil
2 T cornstarch
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to boil 4 cups water, bouillon cube, salt, & pepper. When boiling, add the ham & broccoli. When water returns to boiling, turn down the heat & simmer about 30 min. Add the potato flakes, milk, butter, cheese,& basil. In small bowl mix the cornstarch & 1/2 cup water. Add slowly to soup mixture,. Soup should be rather thick.
