2 1/2 lb. sugar
8 oz. bottle of bitters
10 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Empty all the water into a sauce pan on the stove. Heat water over medium heat, adding the sugar slowly and stirring constantly until dissolved. Do not boil. Once sugar is dissolved, empty bottle of bitters into the water. Turn down heat, let simmer for 15 minutes. Allow to cool. Refrigerate in a bottle.
When serving old fashions add 1-1 1/2 oz. of mix to drink.
