1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. cooking sherry
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. dried dill
8 oz. carton of sour cream
1-2 lb. fresh small mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and saute for 3-5 minutes. Remove mushrooms and place in a crock pot to keep warm. Add sherry, soy sauce, garlic, and dill to skillet and simmer for 3 minutes. Add sour cream, stirring until melted. Pour over mushrooms in the crock pot and serve hot.

I usually buy 4-6 lbs. of mushrooms for our gatherings. The mushrooms will make their own juice, so you never need to double the sauce; you just keep adding mushrooms. You can also thicken the sauce and serve over meat.
