1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. mayonaise
1/3 c. milk
2 eggs
3 c. apples, chopped or grated
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts

Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Beat first 11 ingredients on low. Stir in apples, raisins and nuts. Bale 350 for 35 - 45 min. Use buttercream frosting.

Always grow an apple tree. Applesauce, fruit leather, dried apples, and apple pie can taste so good in the winter. Make hay while the sunshines as Grampa Frey taught.
