6 medium green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
black pepper to taste
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Minute Rice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 oz. American cheese (Velveeta)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut off tops of peppers, remove seeds and membrane. Precook green peppers in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain. Cook ground beef with chopped onion until meat is browned. Drain. Season with salt and pepper. Add tomato sauce, water, Minute Rice, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer until rice is tender. Stir in cheese. Stuff peppers and stand upright in baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
