1/3 cup Crisco oil
2 sticks margarine or butter (softened)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

3 cups flour (or 1/2 cup more for a softer, rounder cookie)
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

12 oz. bag chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.

Cream together oil, butter, and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla to creamed mixture.

Mix the flour, soda, and salt in separate bowl. Add this mixture a little at a time to above creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.

I love this recipe because it makes so many cookies. I usually use 3-1/2 cups of flour, but try it either way and see what kind of cookie you like. These cookies freeze well too.
