1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp shortening melted
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup borwn sugar, for sauce
4 tbsp cocoa, for sauce
1 1/2 cup boiling water, for sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together, add milk, shortening and vanilla; mixing only until smooth. Add pecans. Put into greased shallow 1 qt baking dish. Mix brown sugar, cocoa and water and pour over the mixture in the baking dish. Bake in 350 oven for 40 minutes. When finished, there is a chocolate sauce on the bottom and cake on the top.
