1 -14 oz package light caramels,
1/3 c. evaporated milk,
1 package german chocolate cake mix,
c butter or margarine melted,
1/3 c. evaporated milk,
1 c. walnuts chopped,
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in saucepan and heat over low heat until caramels are melted..Set aside.
Mix by hand the cake mix, melted butter or margarine, 1/3 c evaporated milk and 1 c. chopped walnuts. Batter will be thick. Spread batter in a greased 9x13 pan. You may have to use hands to spread into corners. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle 1 c. chocolate chips over baked crust. Drizzle melted carmel mixture over chips. Spread remaining of batter over the top. This will not be smooth.Return to oven for 15 to 18 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool and refrigerated 30 minutes to set caramels. Serve at room temp. so caramel will be soft.
