1/2 Chocolate Candy Dough
18 vanilla caramels, cut in half, or 18 candied cherries, cut in half
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 envelope (1-oz) premelted chocolate
2 tbsp light corn syrup
2 - 3 tbsp hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Chill dough 1 to 2 hours for easier handling. Heat oven to 400º. Mold dough by rounded teaspoonfuls around caramel halves; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 7 minutes or until set. Cool. In small bowl, blend sugar, chocolate, corn syrup and water. Swirl cookies in chocolate glaze. Makes about 3 dozen.
