4 to 6 lb. pork roast
1 (32oz) pkg kraut
1 med onion chopped
2 tart apples chopped(granny smith)
4 to 6 strips of bacon fired
salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown roast in bacon fat. Pour off fat. Layer bacon in bottom of roasting pan with 1/2 pkg of kraut. On this spread 1/2 apple and onion. Place roast on top; then repeat layers. Season each layer. Cover and bake at 350 for 3 hours or until juices run clear.
