2 Sticks(1 c.) - Butter (use real butter only)
1 c. - Sugar
1/4 c. - Water
1 bag - Milk Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan...add the butter, sugar, & water. Stir constantly and cook over medium heat until the mixture turns a "caramel color", about 10-20min..
Then spread into a 9"x13" pan. Immediately sprinkle with the chocolate chips...letting them melt so you can then spread the chocolate to cover. Cool and break into pieces.

Though it seems to take "forever" for it to turn a caramel color, it is well worth the wait! This toffee makes a great gift, it also makes a nice addition to a cookie tray or serve as a delicious treat for your family!!
