4 -6 c. freshly popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 250
Lightly salt the popcorn.
Place the popcorn in a shallow roasting pan.
In a heavy saucepan, mix the sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Get an adult to stir the mixture over medium heat until it boils. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pout the mixture over the popcorn and stir well to coat.
Bake for 1 hour.
Cool, then break into small clumps.
