1 1/2 cans Evaporated Milk (12 oz. and 5 oz. cans)
1 1/2 cans water
1 can condensed milk and 1 can water
1 cup of sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
2 cinnamon sticks (break in half)
1 lemon (use only the peel)
6 egg yolks
1 stick of butter
4 tbsp corn starch (heaping)
1 pinch of salt
ground cinnamon

Use large pot (4 qt.). Mix milk, water, vanilla, lemon peel, cinnamon, sugar, and salt in pot. Pour some of the mix into a shaker and add egg yolks and corn starch. Shake well and pour back into pot. Cook on medium heat stirring at all times to avoid burning on bottom. When it starts to thicken, add stick of butter and keep stirring until done (approximately 25 minutes). It's done when bubbles appear. Pour into bowl and sprinkle with ground cinnamon on top. Refrigerate for a couple hours and serve.
