3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
apricot or any fruit preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in remaining ingredients. Press 2/3 of dough into a 13x9 in. pan. Spread with apricot (any fruit) preserves.
Cover with the remaining dough.
Bake at 350F, 30-35 minutes.
