3 # cabbage--approx one head 2-3 celery stalks 1/2 carrot for appearance 1 1/2 cups of sugar 1/2 cup vinegar 1 1/2 cups of mayonnaise
Shred cabbage Chop celery and carrots very fine ( I put my cabbage, carrots and celery through the food processor) Mix vinegar, sugar and mayo together. Combine in bowl with shredded vegetables. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. For the best flavor allow to set overnight ( originally from the Country Cupboard Cookbook)
