4c Broccoli
1/4c sliced Red Onion
1/4c sliced Red Bell Pepper (I omit)
1/4c Raisins (I use pomegranate seeds)
2 1/2 T sliced Almonds
salt and pepper to taste
1 slice bacon crumbled (I omit)
2T White Wine Vinegar (I use White Balsamic)
2T Sugar
1 1/2 t Olive Oil

Directions:

Mix Vinegar, Sugar and Oil in a bowl. Pour over all the other ingredients and toss.

Mom found this one in Cooking Light (thank you, Peggy!) and I actually prefer it to the original. Fresh herbs of choice are a nice addition. I typically toss in what I might have on hand.
