2 heads of broccoli florets, chopped - stems removed
1 large onion, chopped
1 sleeve of Ritz crackers,crushed up fine
1/4 to 1/2 lb. of american cheese cut up into small pieces
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 T. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Steam broccoli and onion in
double boiler or microwave just till tender, transfer into greased casserole dish, add mushroup soup
making sure all is moist. Sprinkle salt and pepper
over it then add cheese to the top and then a layer of crackers, drizzle melted butter over top and bake for about 1/2 hour.

Adjust amounts depending on servings, you can also use any other cheese you prefer, I like american because it is mild in taste.
