1 C. flour
3/4 C. sugar
2 tb. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 C. milk
2 tb. melted butter or margarine
1 C. finely chopped nuts, optional
1 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. cocoa
1 3/4 C. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix the flour, sugar, 2 tb. cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Blend in milk and butter. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour into ungreased 9x9 pan. Stir together brown sugar and1/4 c. cocoa in a separate bowl. Sprinkle over the batter. Pour hot water over all. Bake for 45 minutes.
