1 gal port wine 1 pt grain alcohol
1 piece root ginger 7 whole cloves
5 cardamom seeds 24 almonds
1 # white raisins 1 stick cinnamon
peel of 1 orange 1 pt water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Put all spices in cheese cloth bag.
2. Mix sugar and water and bring to boil and add
spice bag.
3. Add almonds and raisins and boil 3 more minutes.
4. Add port and stir well.
5. Turn off heat and add alcohol.
6. If too sweet add more wine, if not sweet enough,
add more sugar
