2 1/4 C flour 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 C Crisco 5 tbsp water about 6 Granny Smith apples, cut into 1/8" thick slices sugar butter cinnamon
Mix flour and salt. With two knives cut in Crisco. Add 1 tbsp water at a time. Don't over mix. Separate mixture in half and press into two discs and refridgerate for 1/2 hr. Roll out between two pieces of saran. Arrange apples in tart shell; sprinkle with sugar; dot with butter; sprinkle wtih cinnamon. Bake at 425ºF until golden.
