3 -13X9 aluminum pans
4 eggs separated
1 cup almond paste (not marzipan)
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 pkge semi-sweet morsels
1 jar apricot jam
1 jar rasberry jam
1 red & green food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350, grease pans, beat egg whites until peaks form, beat almond paste; butter; sugar; 4 yolks until smooth; add flour; beat until smooth
fold in egg whites, separate mixture into 3 equal bowls, color one green; one red, leave last alone. Bake for 9-12 minutes (do not brown), cool & remove from pans, smooth apricot jam over first layer, smooth Rasberry jam over second layer, place top layer on top, in double boiler- melt choclate , pour over layers, refrigerate until just set (but not hard), cut into rectangles, refrigerate again, to set hard!
