1 lg. onion sliced
3lb. beef bottom roast
1/2 cup dry white wine or water
1 pkg. dry au jus gravy mix
2 cups beef broth

Directions:
Directions:
Place onions and roast in crock pot.
Combine wine (or water) and gravy mix and pour over roast.
Add broth to cover roast
Cover and cook on hight 5-6 hours or low 10-12 hrs.
Remove meat from liquid and let stand 5 min. before slicing thinly across grain. Serve on french bread with gravy for dipping.
