2 c sugar
1/2 c water
1/2 c corn syrup
1/2 tsp flavoring and coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients except flavoring and coloring.
Cook, stirring constantly until reaches hard tack stage (310). Add flavoring and coloring
Pour over a sheet of waxed paper that has been dusted with 10x sugar. Cut with scissors while warm. Allow to harden.

I used to make this candy at Christmas when in grade school. A candy thermometer helps.
