1/3 c. soft margarine
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/4 t. mint flavoring
1/2 t. salt
3 1/2 c. (1 lb) powdered sugar
(& I thought mom used cream cheese too)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend margarine, syrup, mint and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add sugar. Mix, first with a spoon, then with hands, kneading well. Turn out onto a board and continue kneading until well blended and smooth. Store wrapped in a tight container in a cool place.

Mom had soft molds to use. We'd roll a small ball in sugar and then push into the mold and then pop out pretty flowers, hearts, etc. I remember making these with my mom, and we must have added cream cheese to the mix in her bocsh, cuz I turned it on and walked away; and the machine tried mixing it up, pushed itself all over and then crashed to the floor! You must pulse until softened. :)
