1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1 c bread crumbs
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cans beef gravy
1 c water
2 medium onions, cut in chunks
4 potatoes, cut in chunks
1 small bag, baby carrots

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350
Cook potatoes and carrots in boiling water 5-7 minutes to soften. Mix 1st 4 ingredients and form into meatballs. Brown in oil in frying pan.
Combine all ingredients in greased casserole dish and bake 1 hour covered.

This was one of Mom's regular meals. I make it now but use pre-made meatballs. I think the original recipe also used broccoli but I don't think Mom liked it (we never had it growing up) so she omitted that
