1 package white cake mix
1 package strawberry gelatin
2 tbsp. flour
4 large eggs
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. cooking oil
1 lb. frozen strawberries, thawed
1/2 c. butter, softened (not melted!)
1 lb box confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, gelatin, flour, eggs, water, and cooking oil with
mixer for 2 min. Add 10 oz. strawberries and mix 1 min more.
Pour into 9" x 13" baking pan and bake at 350 for 35 to 40 min.
Mix butter, 5 oz. strawberries, sugar, and vanilla until very
smooth. Frost cake when cooled.

80 years in the house that she was born in in South Glastonbury,
CT. Typically served at Easter dinner and backyard cookouts.
