8 boneless chicken breasts
1 medium onion, chopped and sauteed
1/4 lb. mushrooms, chopped and sauteed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. dry sherry (not cooking sherry)
Salt and ground black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Place chicken in single layer in large glass casserole. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Bake 45-60 min; basting as necessary. Serve over egg noodles, white rice or wild rice.
