1 c. boiling water
1 c. Bran Buds or All Bran cereal
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over cereal and let the mixture cool. Mix together the sugar, oil, and eggs. Dissolve the soda in the buttermilk. Add the flour, salt, and soda mixture to the oil mixture. Mix in cooled cereal. There should be some lumps and streaks. Fill as many muffin cups that you would like to bake. Bake at 400 F for 15 minutes. Store remainder of dough in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Will keep for 6 weeks.
