1 cup yellow cornmeal, 1 cup of buttermilk (1 teaspoon of vineger to 1 cup of milk if you don't have buttermilk) 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, 3/4 tea. baking soda and 1/2 cup of oil 1 can cream corn, 2 lbs. ground meat 1 lb. cheddar cheese, 1 lg. onion chopped, 1 jalapeno chopped or small can of green chilies.

Mix together first 7 ingredients to make cornbread mix and set aside. Brown ground meat and drain. Pour half of the cornbread mix into a greased 10x14 pan. Add meat, onions, jalapeno pepper and cheese. Pour remaining cornbread mix on top. Bake at 400 for 50min.
