4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
(1/2 tsp. vanilla)
8 slices bread
powdered sugar
cinnamon
maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly and add salt and milk. Add vanilla, if desired. Stir gently. Dip each piece of bread into mixture and brown the bread on each side on a hot, well-buttered griddle.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
Serve with butter and maple syrup.
