1/2 c. poppy seeds
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
3/4 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
4 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Soak poppy seeds in milk. Cream sugar and shortening. Add flour mixture and milk mixture alternately, add vanilla and beat well. Fold in egg whites, beaten stiff. Grease and flour bundt pan. Bake 30-40 min. at 375.
